Speaker LynnThe self-taught art of daydreaming launched Isenberg on a writing-producing-marketing career when, at 8 years old, her story “King C” was selected for Oakland University’s Young Authors Conference. Proud of her accomplishment, Isenberg immediately picked up the phone to call the local press (The Birmingham Eccentric), insisting the operator connect her with the Birmingham Excedrin. Later, Isenberg attended the University of Michigan, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language & Literature, a minor in Film Studies, and an MBA/Entrepreneurial Studies audit, along the way divining the difference between her personality type and the drug store cure for folks who have trouble keeping up with her free-wheeling imagination.

Ambitions to write and produce Hollywood mainstream movies propelled Isenberg to LA, where she racked up credits on Tri-Star Picture’s I Love You to Death (Kevin Kline, Keanu Reeves), MGM’s Youngblood (Rob Lowe, Cynthia Gibb), Showtime’s Bordello, the teen dance drama True Vinyl, and was co-creator and executive producer on the Fine Living Network series I::Design, co-producer of the First Internet Film & Music Festival (IFMF) and architected the deal for transition of IFMF into the Sundance Online Film Festival.  In addition to her mainstream film, TV, internet and publishing credits, Isenberg, known as Zoom, founded the renowned Hollywood LITerary Retreat: Literature. Intelligence. Technology.

As an innovator of content creation and brand partnerships for multi-media, Isenberg launched Focus Media, Inc., paving the way for branded entertainment with companies such as Dignity Memorial, Legacy.com, Eternal Image, Marriott, HaloPets, Paramount Pictures, Herman Miller, TaylorMade Golf, Sundance, Activision, etc.  As part of her multi-media approach, her first entrepreneurial comedy novel attracted a network bidding war.  To market her second comedy novel, The Funeral Planner, Isenberg launched the real life business Lights Out Enterprises,  The Tribute Network, and customized tribute video Jack the Mench, which received front page publicity in the New York Times landing her guest appearances on NBC’s Today Show, CBS’s Early Show, NPR, and international media, as well as becoming a Celebrity Partner to the National Hospice Foundation and 1800Flowers.com.  The Funeral Planner is now a Trilogy Franchise Series of Comedy Novels in development as a feature film with award winning comedy director Donald Petrie (Miss Congeniality, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, etc.).  She also executive produced a Digital Series based on the trilogy featuring singer-celebrity Joss Stone at TheTributeNetwork.com.  Isenberg is a also contributor to the Huffington Post. Her new book is Author Power: Profit Before You Publish. As an author advocate, Author Power paves solid roads for authors, publishers, and content creators across all platforms to generate alternative revenue streams and real profits against a shrinking literary economy.

Isenberg resides in Marina del Rey, CA and Austin, TX.  She holds a Masters in Spiritual Psychology from USM, a Bachelors of Arts in English Language & Literature with a Minor in Film Studies and an MBA/Entrepreneurial Studies audit from the University of Michigan, and is a Guest Adjunct Professor of Transmedia Entertainment at LMU and SMC’s Academy of Entertainment Media & Technology.
