The self-taught art of daydreaming launched Isenberg on a writing-producing-marketing career when at 8 years old, her story “King C” was selected for Oakland University’s Young Authors Conference. From there, her imagination propelled her to LA to write and produce Hollywood mainstream movies where she racked up credits on Tri-Star Picture’s I Love You to Death (Kevin Kline, Keanu Reeves), MGM’s Youngblood (Rob Lowe, Cynthia Gibb), Showtime’s Bordello, teen dance drama True Vinyl, co-created and exec produced the Fine Living Network series I::Design, co-produced the First Internet Film & Music Festival (IFMF) and architected the deal for IFMFs transition to the Sundance Online Film Festival. In addition to her mainstream film, TV, internet and publishing credits, Isenberg is founder of the renown Hollywood LIT Retreat [LIT: Literature. Intelligence. Technology.] for entertainment industryites. As an innovator of branded entertainment, Isenberg launched Focus Media, Inc., creating and executing deals with Marriott, Herman Miller, PETCO, Dignity Memorial, Legacy.com, HaloPets, Paramount Pictures, TaylorMade Golf, Sundance, Activision, etc. She put those success stories into her critically acclaimed book Author Power: Profit Before You Publish to help creators generate alternative revenue streams.
As a novelist, Isenberg’s first entrepreneurial comedy novel, My Life Uncovered, attracted both a publishing and network bidding war. For her second comedy novel, The Funeral Planner, about a woman who brings life to a dead business, Isenberg launched the real life business Lights Out Enterprises, The Tribute Network, and tribute video Jack the Mench, which received front page publicity in the New York Times landing her guest appearances on NBC’s Today Show, CBS’s Early Show, NPR, and international media, as well as becoming a Celebrity Partner to 1800Flowers. The Funeral Planner is a trilogy franchise comedy series with over one million online reads, and is becoming a Korean Drama Series and more…
